Trespass signs up to Kingfisher Centre

Outdoor clothing specialist Trespass is to open a new store at the Kingfisher Shopping centre in Redditch.

The brand has agreed a five-year lease for a 2,117 square foot unit on Walford Walk.

Afzal Khushi, director at Trespass, said: “We view Redditch as an important link in the Trespass chain of stores and a location that fills a gap in our representation in the Midlands. We commence fitting out and refurbishment works on 16 October and look forward to trading from our brand new store in the first week of November.”

The news follows the opening of a 47,000 square foot The Range store in July and the launch of a 360 Play family entertainment venue at the centre in February.

Commenting on the Trespass signing, Sian Bowen, retail asset manager for Capital & Regional, said: “Trespass are one of the most recognised names in outdoor family clothing, and it’s exactly this kind of quality that we continue to bring to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre. We’re very happy to see Trespass open as it serves to reinforce and complement our increasingly strong and diverse retail offer.”
