Sports Direct to join line-up at St Anns

Sports Direct is to join the line-up at St Anns Shopping Centre in Harrow.

The retailer has signed for a 20,000 square foot store with St Anns’ owner Railpen, the investment manager for the £35 billion Railways Pension Scheme.

The new shop will be situated at the entrance to the 280,000 square foot scheme on College Road, opposite Lidl. It will stock brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, ASICS and Puma and also include sections for running, football and outdoor.

In addition, the store will house a USC which will offer trend-focused customers a selection of premium branded denim, urban fashion, accessories, footwear and beauty items. Brands will include Converse, Champion, Levi’s, Hilfiger Denim and Lacoste.

Richard Van Lente, senior asset and development manager at Railpen, said: “We are delighted that Sports Direct will be opening at St Anns Shopping Centre. They will be a great addition to the destination and will bolster the diverse offering of brands at the centre. The signing marks a great start to 2022 for St Anns as our last big floorplate is now let. With St Anns’ bumper Christmas trading period, we are confident that the opening of Sports Direct will help attract more customers and provide more choice for our existing visitors.”
