Sports Direct to enter new markets in South East Asia and India
Frasers Group is to launch Sports Direct in five new markets in South East Asia and India through an expansion of its partnership with Map Active.
The agreement will enable Sports Direct to establish over 350 stores in the region over the long term as it benefits from MAP Active’s infrastructure, local expertise, and brand network.
As part of plans to position itself as the leading sports retailer in the region, Sports Direct will be entering the new markets of India, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. It will also be expanding further into Indonesia.
