Nike Unite joins line-up at Blanchardstown Centre

Nike Unite, the latest retail concept from sports brand Nike, has opened its first store in Ireland at Dublin’s Blanchardstown Centre.

Spanning 10,000 square feet, the shop stocks Nike’s latest sports, fashion and footwear ranges for men, women, teens and kids.

As part of plans to help local communities connect with sport, Nike Unite will be partnering with Special Olympics Ireland, which aims to drive and support a quality year-round sports programme, and Ireland’s leading youth organisation Foróige.

The new shop will strengthen Blanchardstown’s athleisure offer, which also includes JD Sports, Lifestyle Sports, Skechers and Schuh.

Sharon Walsh, leasing director at Falcon AM, asset managers for Blanchardstown Centre, said: “We’re incredibly excited that Nike has chosen Blanchardstown Centre for the opening of Ireland’s first Nike Unite store.

“A compelling in-store experience is increasingly important to consumers and this new concept speaks directly to that. The community focus and experiential element offers something different – and will act as a real draw.”

Other recent openings at Blanchardstown have included Bershka, Flannels and Zara, all of which have helped to increase the centre’s year-to-date footfall by 8% on 2022.

At 1.1 million square feet, Blanchardstown Centre is Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, The centre has benefited from an extension and extensive refurbishment process over the last two years which has helped boost occupancy to 98%.
