Intersport appoints new chief executive
Intersport Group has appointed Tom Foley as its new chief executive.
Due to take up his position on 1 July, he recently held the same role at Go Sport where he led a chain of stores and a network of international franchises.
In his new role, Foley will focus on strengthening Intersport’s global network, enhancing operational efficiency and reinforcing its position as a leading partner for its strategic brands. He will also work to accelerate the development of the company’s brand and private label brands, and lead Intersport Group’s global transformation.
Corinne Gensollen, chairman of Intersport International Corporation, said: “The IIC board of management is confident that Tom’s vision, leadership and strong collaborative mindset will bring new momentum and innovation to the Intersport Group.

Founded in 1968, Intersport has 5,464 specialist stores across 42 countries.
