Hobbycraft launches ‘Moments we make’ festive campaign

Hobbycraft has launched a Christmas advert that encourages viewers to enjoy crafting during the festive season.

The “Moments we make” campaign will air across video-on-demand services from 25 October including Sky On Demand, ITV Hub and All 4, and on YouTube and social media from 18  October.

Centred around the sense of achievement and joy customers get when giving and receiving something handmade at Christmas, the advert was produced in-house in collaboration with a small team of local freelancers. In addition, Leeds based folk band The Dunwells composed the festive soundtrack, the full-length version of which will be played on Hobbycraft’s in-store radio in its 108 UK stores over the festive period.

Joel Pickering, head of marketing and brand at Hobbycraft, said: “Building on the success of our autumn advert our goal this Christmas is to inspire our new and existing customers to get creative this Christmas, whether that be by booking onto a workshop or visiting the Hobbycraft Ideas Hub, which is our home of inspiration and advice.

“We’ve received fantastic feedback on our online and in-store workshops and are excited to see customers signing up to the new Christmas offering. We are positioning ourselves as the number one destination in the UK for Christmas ideas and inspiration and we are here to help our customers create a Christmas filled with moments and memories.”
