Angling Direct opens new Warrington store

Angling Direct, the fishing tackle and equipment retailer, has launched a new store in Warrington in Cheshire.

The opening means the retailer now has a total of 35 stores across the UK.

Spanning 4,500 square feet, the shop is situated within the Cockhedge Shopping Park. The retailer said the shop will be an experience led store with customers being able to access a full-size Pole Alley to enable them to “try before they buy.”

The store will cater for a wide range of angling disciplines.

Angling Direct’s chief executive Andy Torrance said: “We are very excited to have broadened our reach into the north of England with the opening of our latest store in Warrington, a thriving local angling community.

“The store opening supports the group’s strategy to roll out new stores across the UK to service popular fishing destinations and angling communities. At the same time, we continue to enhance our ecommerce offering in terms of products, experience and education in order to help raise the profile of angling.”
