Two Rivers adds Lidl and Marks & Spencer to line-up

The Two Rivers retail park in Staines is adding Lidl and Marks & Spencer to its line-up.

M&S will be relocating its existing store in the town to a 20,000 square foot flagship at Two Rivers which will enable it to double the size of its foodhall.

Meanwhile, Lidl has chosen Two River for  15,700 square foot shop.

Jayne Saunders, M&S head of region, said: “We’re excited to be opening a brand new, large M&S Foodhall in Staines at the Two Rivers retail park, which will give local customers 50% more foodhall space than our current store.  The new store will be finished this winter and, in line with the expansion, our existing store in the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre will close once the development is complete.”

Other retailers with stores at Two Rivers include the likes of Next, TK Maxx, Wagamama, Metrobank, Boots, Pret a Manger and Vue Cinemas at Two Rivers.

The retail park is owned by the Two Rivers Limited Partnership which is a joint venture between Aberdeen Standard Investments and M&G Real Estate.

Simon Moscow from Aberdeen Standard Investments said: “Through proactive asset management, The Two Rivers Limited Partnership is delighted to bring Marks and Spencer and Lidl to Two Rivers. Both retailers will add to the well-rounded shopping, convenience and leisure offering, reinforcing Two Rivers as the premier destination in Staines-upon-Thames.”
