The Boulevard celebrates strong Easter trading
Northern Ireland’s The Boulevard has been boosted by strong Easter week trading after footfall climbed by 13% on the same period in 2019.
The Lotus Property owned premium outlet centre welcomed a high volume of visitors over the period, which led to sales increasing by 22% compared to the same time two years ago.
Situated on the A1 corridor between Belfast and Dublin, the centre has also reported that ATV was up 24% on 2019 and that annualised density increased by 36%.
Chris Nelmes, retail director at The Boulevard, said: “Our aim is always to welcome as many people as possible to The Boulevard on school holidays but also to ensure that guests are entertained, have an enjoyable experience and already begin planning their next visit before they’ve even left the car park.
“We invested more than ever in our Easter activities this year and ensured there was an entertaining programme that stretched right across Easter week for the whole family to enjoy. With thanks to our extensive retail offering and activities available, the mall was busy all weekend with families and fashionistas alike.”
During the period, Northern Ireland’s first ever Kate Spade New York store joined The Boulevard’s line-up, which includes the likes of Molton Brown, Joules, Crew Clothing, Guess, New Look, Kurt Geiger, Jack Wills, Next and M&S.
