Ted Baker leads four retail openings at Merry Hill
The Merry Hill shopping destination in the West Midlands has signed four new retail brands for a total of 8,740 square feet of space.
Fashion retailer Ted Baker has opened a 2,500 square foot store on Merry Hill’s upper level while stationery retailer Paperchase has taken 2,350 square feet on the lower mall opposite Waterstones.
In further signings, West Midlands fashion retailer Faayds has opened a 2,660 square foot shop on the upper level while Claire’s Accessories has relocated to a larger 1,230 square foot unit on the lower mall adjacent to Ernest Jones.
Alistair Winning, asset manager at Sovereign Centros, said: “Introducing premium brand Ted Baker to Merry Hill adds to the emerging aspirational retailer hub on the destination’s upper level. Paperchase, Faayds, and Claire’s Accessories also contribute to the diversity of retail on offer here; evidence that there is truly something for everyone at this all-encompassing West Midlands destination.”
This news follows luxury jeweller Beaverbrooks upsizing its showroom on Merry Hill’s upper level and the centre’s signing of the UK’s largest ten-bowling operator Hollywood Bowl.
