New brands to join line-up at Carnaby

Shaftesbury has announced that two new brands will join its line-up in London’s Carnaby shopping district.

Liars & Lovers will open its first ever retail store at 56b Carnaby Street in September. Previously selling only online through ASOS, the retailer has signed for a 1,054 square feet store from where it will sell its range of jewellery, accessories and  hair accessories. The store will also have an in-store piercing studio.

Meanwhile, outdoor lifestyle brand Timberland will open a new 4,488 square foot store in November at 5-7 Carnaby Street.

The shopping district has also seen RLL, the US sub-brand of Ralph Lauren, open its first UK standalone store in Newburgh Street recently. In addition, Raeburn will be launching a pop-up store in the area next month.

Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Shaftesbury, said: “It is exciting to see the growth in demand from international brands wanting to position their stores in Carnaby, the heart of the West End, further reinforcing the destination as a global fashion capital.”
