Molton Brown to join line-up at The Boulevard

The owner of Northern Ireland designer outlet The Boulevard has confirmed that Molton Brown will open a temporary pop-up at the centre in the run-up to Christmas.

Lotus Property said the retailer will set up shop in a 1,075 square foot unit from September until January 2021 and will have the option to extend its lease beyond that if required.

Alastair Coulson, managing director of Lotus Property said: “Molton Brown is an iconic brand that we know complements our existing tenant base and matches perfectly with our shopper demographic. The signing is testament to the success of the scheme and our ongoing investment in it.”

The Boulevard has experienced strong trading  in the six weeks since reopening after the Covid-19 lockdown with footfall up by an average of 15% compared to the same time last year. According to figures from Lotus, brands such as Beauty Outlet, GAP, Mountain Warehouse, Denby, Asics and Nike have seen their sales  increase by between 10.5% and 124.6%.

Coulson added: “Since reopening, the feedback we’re getting from tenants as to how well their stores have been performing across their brands’ portfolios has been extremely encouraging. We invested heavily in our post-Covid environment and successfully executed a clear strategy for welcoming shoppers back to the scheme in a safe and welcoming way. The past six weeks of trading have shown this has been effective.”
