Sky will also be joining the line-up by opening its biggest ever shop to date at 3,491 square feet. Customers will also be able to test out Sky’s latest innovations and experience Sky’s Sky Q technology.
Matthew Price, retail director at Sky UK, said: “We are delighted to be opening our largest Sky Shop in Manchester which will allow Sky to showcase the amazing benefits it has to offer new and existing customers. Manchester Arndale is an iconic retail hub and we’re pleased to be able to offer a safe environment in which people can shop for the latest innovative technology from Sky. We look forward to opening our doors and sharing the full experience with customers.”
Manchester Arndale welcomes over 42 million visitors in an average year and has a line-up of more than 200 shops and restaurants, including international, national and local brands.
Colin Flinn, non-executive director and spokesperson for Manchester Arndale, said: “We want to ensure Manchester Arndale remains an exciting and progressive place for all of our customers to visit. Introducing popular high-end retail brands such as Kurt Geiger and Carvela will help to strengthen its position as one of the ‘go-to’ shopping destinations in the northwest. In addition, the Sky shop introduces an interactive experience to our customers. We’re looking forward to sharing more exciting news about other new occupiers in the months to come.”
