Hammerson creates chief operating officer role

Hammerson has appointed Grégoire Peureux to the newly created role of chief operating officer.

In his new position, he will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives at a group level and will become a member of the group executive committee.

With more than 17 years’ experience in the real estate sector, Peureux previously worked with Rove Capital Partners where he was a founding partner. Prior to that, he worked with Ivanhoe Cambridge for over 13 years, initially as chief financial officer for Europe, and subsequently as acting head of Europe.  His earlier career also includes a stint at KPMG.

Rita-Rose Gagné, chief executive of Hammerson, said: “Grégoire’s extensive experience and new perspective will ensure we become more agile and are in the best possible position to respond to this period of extraordinary change and disruption.”
