Centre:mk signs up beauty brands

Centre:mk in Milton Keynes is to welcome global beauty brands Laser Clinics UK and Thérapie Clinic to its line-up this year.

Laser Clinics UK has taken a 1,656 square space at the shopping destination from where it will offer a range of laser hair removal, cosmetic injectables and professional skin treatments from later this month.

Speaking on behalf of Laser Clinics UK, Jonathan Gardner said: “This is an extremely exciting time for Laser Clinics as we are expanding across the UK in the very best locations. We take great care in selecting where we situate our clinics, and Centre:mk’s significant regional appeal at the heart of one of the most affluent catchments in the country made it a priority.”

Meanwhile, Thérapie Clinic has signed for a 2,449 square foot unit on the centre’s 30 Midsummer Arcade.

The news follows H Beauty choosing Centre:mk for the opening of its biggest beauty department store to date. In addition, family owned jeweller Beaverbrooks is to upsize with a relocation from Midsummer Arcade to the centre’s Crown Walk.

Kevin Duffy, Centre:mk’s centre director, said: “Self-care and wellbeing are high up on everyone’s priorities, especially as we return to the norm after a challenging year. Both retailers add to our already strong offer of health and beauty brands available in H Beauty, and the extensive beauty halls within John Lewis & Partners, Boots and M&S. Centre:mk’s portfolio provides an unmatched collection of health and wellbeing brands in the region, directly responding to the significant growth in the self-care trend.
