VTEX Day welcomed the biggest audience as the company gears up to launch in the UK
VTEX – Latin America’s largest enterprise digital commerce platform – welcomed the largest ever audience to its annual conference in April. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, LATAM’s largest digital retail event was back in full force, with over 14,000 people attending the eight annual VTEX Day.
The sell-out, two-day event hosted more than 190 speakers over 80 hours of content sharing and networking, covering everything from the latest developments in ecommerce technology and global market trends through to entrepreneurship insights from keynote speakers such as seven-time Formula 1 champion, Sir Lewis Hamilton.
Many of the speakers reflected on the pandemic’s impact on new consumer and ecommerce developments, highlighting that lockdowns around the world had helped dissolve the traditional boundaries between the digital and physical world for many consumers. The retail brands winning in the fast paced ecommerce space are seamlessly integrating their digital and real world customer experiences to keep pace with their needs.
Through its cloud-based commerce platform, VTEX helps retailers remain agile and reach their customers across any channel to retain the loyalty and uncover new growth opportunities.
VTEX sets its sights on expansion in the UK
VTEX itself has been experiencing new growth. Following its success in Latin and North America, the business has launched operations in the UK – a key strategic market as it looks to expand its presence across Europe.
VTEX is already connecting with UK business leaders to demonstrate how its digital commerce platform can put them on a fast path to growth, with the agility they need to keep ahead of what’s coming next. It has begun supporting leading brands within the market, including signing an agreement to power Mazda Motor Europe’s digital commerce operations in the UK.
This deal includes an online Mazda Vehicle Stock Locator for new cars and Europe wide ecommerce marketplace infrastructure for all Mazda entities which will enable nearly 1,600 dealerships to sell new and used vehicles online. This bold initiative by Mazda Motor Europe reflects the changing needs of its customers, as vehicle shopping enters a new digital era.
Mazda is the first major UK customer for VTEX, as it begins to build its business and support more brands in solving their digital commerce challenges to improve customer experience and uncover opportunities for growth.
