The Big Zero Show Expands to Two Days, Focusing on Emissions Reduction and Net Zero Career Opportunities
Coventry, UK – The Big Zero Show is set to expand to a two-day event this year, providing invaluable support for businesses aiming to reduce their emissions and individuals seeking careers in the low-carbon economy. The event will be held at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday, July 2, and Wednesday, July 3.
Now in its third year, The Big Zero Show has added a second day dedicated to skills, career opportunities, and the jobs of the future within the low-carbon sector. This expansion builds on the success of the previous two years, which saw the event attract 1,500 delegates last year.
Day 1: Net Zero five years on… Are we on track?
The first day of the event on Tuesday, July 2, will continue to offer comprehensive support to major companies, SMEs, and public sector organisations striving to achieve net zero. Attendees will experience a showcase of innovation and technology, engage in valuable peer-to-peer networking, and hear from leading keynote speakers. The agenda includes presentations highlighting practical solutions for businesses, and a series of TED-talk style lectures and panel discussions covering crucial topics such as policy, technology, business strategy, and finance.
Day 2: Net Zero: Your Future Workplace
Wednesday, July 3, will spotlight skills development and future job opportunities, with a special invitation for young people, graduates, and those looking to reskill. Employers from the fast-evolving low-carbon industry will present career opportunities, offer support to develop employability skills, and share success stories from professionals currently working in the sector.
The Big Zero Show is organised by future net zero, in partnership with Coventry City Council and Energy UK. Sumit Bose, founder of future net zero, emphasised the importance of equipping businesses with the skills necessary for a sustainable future.
“We’re excited to expand The Big Zero Show to not only provide guidance to businesses but also support the crucial workforce driving the low-carbon economy. This event is about helping businesses achieve better outcomes for the planet while offering them the tools to take actionable steps. We’ve seen significant growth each year, and Coventry, with its focus on green technologies, is the perfect place for this expansion. At future Net Zero, we want to give something back to the industry for a sustainable future.”
The Big Zero Show aims to attract more than 2,250 visitors over the two-day event, utilising a wide range of spaces at the Coventry Building Society Arena, including the main exhibition halls and lecture theatre.
