PMC Secures ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Accreditation
Leading Technology Services Provider, PMC, has secured accreditation to ISO/IEC 27001, the international Information Security Standard for the effective management of information assets.Achieving the accreditation within the exceptional time period of six months, half the time a business of our size normally takes to achieve certification, reflects the impressive quality of PMC security processes already in place across the business, and the PMC project management expertise in complex programme management.
The accreditation extends across all business areas, including Managed Services, Development, Testing, Project Management and Consulting Services, and has been achieved across both our UK and India operations, demonstrating PMC’s ‘one company’ philosophy and unified processes and culture.
For PMC customers this means that information in all its forms, whether digital, paper-based or stored in the cloud is secure, protected by data security procedures with embedded security controls aligned to the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.
The accreditation follows an extensive and rigorous review of existing security processes and controls to enhance them and adopt additional world class tools to further strengthen them. As the risks associated with cyber attacks and data breaches continue to increase, information security has become a critical issue for every business.
