Kerv announces strategic partnership with the Retail Trust to support the wellbeing of the retail workforce

Kerv, a leading cloud-centric managed services provider, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with the Retail Trust, the UK retail industry charity dedicated to supporting the well-being of the retail workforce.

The partnership highlights Kerv’s commitment to “putting people first” by leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies and customer experience (CX) solutions to provide the Retail Trust’s Helpdesk services, contact centres and CRM  technology.

The Retail Trust delivered a total social value of £90 million in 2024 alone, saving the economy millions by providing employee health and wellbeing support to retail workers in need that otherwise impact public services like the NHS.

The charity’s latest Retail People Index found that more than two in five retail workers were at risk of quitting their jobs this summer, and 41% worked while physically or mentally unwell. Kerv’s support will help the charity continue to improve the health and well-being of the retail workforce.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Alastair Mills, Executive Chairman of Kerv, said, “At Kerv, we understand the critical role technology plays in transforming businesses and improving lives. Partnering with the Retail Trust is a privilege, as it allows us to apply our cloud and digital expertise to improve the well-being of retail workers, who are essential to the UK economy. Together, we aim to ensure that retail employees not only receive the best support possible but also thrive in their careers, contributing to the overall success of the industry.”

Chris Brook-Carter, CEO of the Retail Trust, added, “Kerv has helped support the Retail Trust’s purpose of creating a happier and healthier workforce by making our business more efficient. Our support for retail workers across the UK has never been more relevant or needed, and having the right technology partner is essential for us to meet the growing and ever-more complex needs of this workforce.”

This partnership is another step in Kerv’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and reinforces the company’s broader mission to use technology for good. By supporting the Retail Trust, Kerv is not only helping to transform how support services are delivered but also making a lasting impact on one of the UK’s most vital workforces.
