Government Minister Ed Vaizey unveils the K3 Innovation Centre
K3 Retail offers visitors the retail experience at its Didcot head office
Ed Vaizey, Member of Parliament for Wantage and Didcot and Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries visited the K3 Retail offices in Didcot on Friday 22nd October and officially opened the Innovation Centre, for K3 Retail, a leading provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology.
K3 Retail has created a suite which replicates a retail store environment. Within the area there is a checkout, tills, and a self service kiosk, where visitors can look items up, read reviews and reserve items for collection.
Colin Bain, Managing Director at K3 Retail, said, “This is an exciting time for K3 Retail. The Innovation Centre is an area we are extremely proud of and gives us the ability to demonstrate a real store scenario to our visitors. Here they can witness first-hand the benefits our technology can offer to their businesses. We were delighted that Ed Vaizey was able to join us to officially open this area.”
