Gieves and Hawkes drives online performance
Gieves and Hawkes, the prestigious Savile Row tailor, is planning on growing its online and store sales revenue significantly for the forthcoming year, following the implementation of a retail system from K3 Retail.
Gieves and Hawkes initially selected K3 Retail to integrate its finance systems and store sales with the rest of its business, and is now building its multi-channel offering. Through phase 1 of the project, the business has already started to benefit from one version of the truth and improved sales and financial reporting capabilities, providing accurate information directly to users.
The warehouse project has implemented hand held terminals that has enabled Gieves and Hawkes to streamline receipt and despatch processes and improve stock accuracy. The warehouse project has enabled the business to consolidate its warehouse facilities and significantly reduce overheads.
Will Dresner, Financial Director at Gieves and Hawkes, said, “We started working with K3 Retail in 2009, bringing them onboard to support the implementation of our Microsoft retail system, and they immediately identified areas where the system could be used more effectively. Since then, K3 Retail have supported us with a number of other projects and enhancements, and enabled us to utilise our Microsoft solution to a much greater extent, bringing in finance, stock and reporting capabilities.”
John Little, Sales Director, K3 Retail, said, “I’m delighted that Gieves and Hawkes are reaping the benefits of its K3 Retail system. It’s always great to see a retailer realising tangible benefits from their IT investment, and we’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with them.”
