Clinton Cards Works with Psion Teklogix and The Barcode Warehouseto Digitise Inventory Management

1,100 Psion NEOs to be rolled out by December 2010 for Enterprise Resource Planning

Psion Teklogix, and The Barcode Warehouse has announced that Clinton Cards has selected the Psion NEO mobile computer  as a key element of its ongoing upgrade of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) across the organisation. The device will be used for electronic data capture across a broad range of applications including goods receipting, range planning and price checking.

Richard Wilson, Group Information Systems Manager, Clinton Cards, commented, “This is an exciting time for Clinton Cards as we take the final step in implementing our enhanced ERP solution. The use of the Psion NEO mobile device supports full stock ordering and control and out of the options we had available this was the clear choice. Up until this stage we have not been using handheld technology in our stores so this is a major move forward for us as a business.”

The initial roll out will take place in September and all 1,100 units will be deployed by December 2010.
