Europe’s largest online beauty retailer Feelunique, has today launched a referral marketing campaign powered by Mention Me, as part of a wider customer acquisition drive.
The global retailer sells an unrivalled choice of more than 30,000 products from 500 brands across beauty, makeup, skincare, haircare, fragrance, accessories and electricals, to over 120 countries.
With their fast growing loyal community of more than 1.3 million people globally, and an innovative approach to technology, Feelunique recognise that their customers are their most powerful advocates. Having already introduced a loyalty programme, a social media influencer programme for their customers and a monthly product sampling offer, the team were keen to provide a platform for them to easily share their positive experiences of the brand.
They decided to partner with Mention Me, using their leading SaaS technology, to capitalise on their word of mouth referrals. Mention Me were able to offer an opportunity to deliver a step change in performance, and optimise the referral programme further to help Feelunique deliver on their ambitious customer acquisition targets.
According to Ben van Pelt, Marketing Manager for Feelunique, “We have always aimed for our brand to reflect and respond to the way that our customers want to shop, and to build an online, global community of advocates. Mention Me was the perfect partner for our referral programme due to its rigorous AB testing and their ‘refer by name’ functionality, a unique and simple method for customers to share our brand.”
Andy Cockburn, CEO of Mention Me, comments “Feelunique’s range of products and customer demographic suits referral perfectly, especially when you consider how connected they are on social media. By enabling them to share the brand with their friends and be rewarded for doing so is the simplest and most trusted form of marketing there is.”
