AWWG optimise operations and logistics across Europe with Order Management specialist OneStock

AWWG, the global fashion group, announce a new strategic alliance for two of their brands: Pepe Jeans and Hackett London with OneStock’s SaaS-based OMS, to optimise its logistics and operations across Europe.

AWWG selected OneStock’s Order Management System to support the brands in creating exceptional customer experience as part of their wider omnichannel strategy. The iconic British brand Pepe Jeans and the British menswear brand Hackett London required a technology partner who could help improve business efficiency, whilst significantly reducing delivery times for their customers.

Historically, Pepe Jeans and Hackett London fulfilled all European web orders from just one central warehouse located in Spain – a process which showed room for efficiencies in terms of delivery costs and lead times. After a detailed discovery phase with consideration around the existing IT landscape and integrations including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP, Retail Pro and Adyen, the new OMS was implemented.

Central to the project was ensuring the optimisation of order fulfilment, with local stores in each country using OneStock’s Ship from Store solution to reduce costs and provide quicker delivery times. At the same time, additional omnichannel solutions were also deployed such as Click & Collect, based on available stock in pick-up store and a number of new Returns options for customers. The partnership is part of AWWG’s commitment to continued digitalisation across the company processes and workflow.

Javier Figar, Chief Retail Officer at AWWG commented “OneStock worked closely with us to understand our requirements and meet our customers’ needs around order fulfilment. Our business priority is to ensure that our brands offer the best experience and service to our consumers. We are confident that OneStock’s OMS is the perfect partner for us. They have a strong cross-Europe team with expertise and knowledge in the fashion business.”

Jerome Piccolin, Sales Director at OneStock added “We’re delighted to be helping Pepe Jeans and Hackett London improve operational efficiencies, whilst also enhancing the shopping experience provided to their loyal customers. With Ship from Store rolled out to 70 stores across Europe, the two ecommerce sites can now display increased levels of stock across all stores, rather than just the stock located at the central warehouse. We’re currently working with the teams at both brands to extend Ship from Store to Germany, and to implement more omnichannel solutions including Order in Store as part of the brands’ evolving strategy.”
