AURES introduces TWIST-P, a compact, all-in-one POS Mini-Pack with integrated receipt printer.
TWIST-P (“P” for Printer) is a new variant of the TWIST point-of-sale terminal. This all-in-one Mini-Pack POS system with a small footprint, is perfect for significant space savings on the sales counter.
A new POS concept developed by AURES Technologies, it is supported by a specifically designed black and red stand which integrates the EPOS terminal and the ODP444 receipt printer.
Integration of high-performance AURES sub-systems
TWIST-P houses the point-of-sale system of the same name; a dedicated space, under the stand has been provided to insert the ODP 444, the associated thermal receipt printer.
The TWIST-P’s full HD touchscreen is that of the original TWIST and its PCAP panel is multi-touch, ultra-flat and edgeless (13.3″ diagonal), for optimal performance.
Consistency and compatibility of POS IT equipment
The TWIST-P motherboard is the same as that of the AURES JAZZ and TWIST ranges, which guarantees consistency of the various IT tools and solutions deployed at the point of sale. For example, easier software updates and maintenance of the system.
Three types of embedded processors to choose from, inserted in an exclusive miniaturised compact case – developed by AURES
Supported by three different powerful mobile and fanless embedded processors, the motherboard is protected by a miniaturised compact case (only 10cm x 10cm); very rigid and ultra-accessible,
it accommodates two M2 SSD slots as well as the RAM memory.
USB-C technology
TWIST-P incorporates USB-C technology, which allows significant reduction in connectivity, as a unique USB Type-C cable is required for the simultaneous transmission of all signals required for its operation (power, USB data and video).
This eliminates unnecessary cabling and strengthens the reliability of the system (fewer wires in contact with each other and exposed to the risk of vibration, for example).
Simplified tool-free mounting
The assembly and mounting of the TWIST-P sub-systems – including the stand – is done quickly and simply without tools, for easy maintenance and intervention.
In addition, the integration of associated AURES peripherals such as the PS 400 2D scanner or the OCD 400 customer display is done via a magnetic system offering greater flexibility during mounting, and dismounting.
TWIST-P is a complete “All in One” mini-EPOS including receipt printer that will fit on even the smallest of sales counters and accommodate a number of options and associated peripherals.
TWIST-P was unveiled at EuroCIS 2022, Europe’s leading trade fair for POS and retail technology in Düsseldorf.
