Associated Security launches new polymer ready solution

The K500 is leading the way with cash management solutions.

The first few months of 2016 have been a busy time for businesses dealing with cash management, in particular those in the retail industry. With the introduction of polymer banknotes and the news that a new £1 coin will begin circulating next year, demand has been high for solutions to deal with the changing face of cash management.

Gone are the days of manual teller settlement and regular CIT collections as businesses look at ways to cut costs, increase efficiency and secure financial assets. Associated Security is one such company helping businesses with innovative cash management solutions providing limited disruption to daily processes.

Associated Security recently exhibited at Retail Risk London where they presented their new product, the AsSec K500 cash machine, designed to make back office cash management more efficient and cost effective. The machine is made up of three parts, the banknote deposit machine, coin recycler and banknote dispenser, each working in sync to provide easy teller settlement in the back office.

At the exhibition, the machine saw a great deal of interest with its polymer ready software and clear benefits being an attraction for retail security professionals. Reduced personnel costs through automated teller settlement, improved financial cash flow thanks to real time cash booking on bank accounts and reduced frequency of CIT collections are predicted to save retailers time, money and space in the back office.

The machine has also been designed to work in co-operation with banks and CIT companies providing a smooth cash management process. With the upcoming changes in the face of cash management, retailers have been left concerned that they will not have sufficient machines to handle the new style of cash but the K500 can have its software updated when future changes happen.

Associated Security is confident that the new K500 cash machine will transform back office cash management and prevent the risk of loss through human error. A trial product can be installed for retailers who wish to test before a full programme is rolled out in all stores and Associated Security will provide project management throughout the process as well as maintenance engineers to provide regular assistance once the projects have been completed.

The K500 is just one of the cash management solutions leading the way in the industry right now. Associated Security’s solutions stand out from the rest with their bespoke approach; each product can be tailor made with software to suit individual client’s requirements.
