The Gyle Shopping Centre given fresh new look
The Gyle Shopping Centre in Edinburgh has been given a facelift following a six- month refurbishment.
After being appointed in July 2017 to manage the 410,000 square foot scheme, Ellandi has given it a fresh new look with updated mall entrances, furniture, bulkheads, branding and signage. It has also introduced new lighting, living wall features and a “high-level mall treatment” and retailer branding.
Mark Hurst, Ellandi asset management director, said: “We are delighted with this significant investment in The Gyle, a direct result of which is a new 6,400 square foot letting to JD Sports which has already opened and looks fantastic. The timescale we were required to work to was extremely challenging and it’s testament to the whole team that not only was the target met but also within budget.”
Originally constructed in 1993, the shopping centre is situated around six and a half miles west of Edinburgh city centre.
