Tessuti to join line-up at Intu Potteries

Designer frashion retailer Tessuti is to open a new store at Intu Potteries following the success of fellow JD Sports Fashion retailer Scotts at the shopping centre.

Spanning 4,879 square feet, the store will open in April and offer fashion items from the likes of Polo Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith, Love Moschino and Hugo Boss, as well as menswear store Scotts whose brands include Fred Perry, Pretty Green, Barbour and Paul & Shark.

James Air, group acquisitions manager for Tessuti and Scotts at JD Sports Fashion, said: “We have traded successfully over many years at Intu Potteries under our Scotts fashion banner and have a loyal clientele. The decision was taken to invest in this strong location with a bigger, better store to combine both the Scotts range and to give customers an all new Tessuti with its higher end luxury brands.”

Intu Potteries’ catchment area extends across Staffordshire, south Cheshire and Shropshire.

Colin Flinn, regional managing director for intu, said: “Intu Potteries is home to many of the UK’s leading brands from Primark and Debenhams to Cineworld. The centre’s key location presents retailers with opportunities to deliver a strong performance.”
