Medi Parry-Williams launches new venture in town and shopping centre regeneration
Medi Parry-Williams, who is based in Knutsford, Cheshire has launched her new business to support and reinvigorate our much-loved towns and shopping centres.
Medi, who is trading as ‘MPW Making Places Work’, brings over 15 years’ experience in the shopping centre and town centre regeneration industry to an increasingly competitive market. With her passion, expertise and vision, she is set to reinvigorate and regenerate a number of retail destinations which have suffered a decline in trade and footfall over the last few years.
The award-winning and international business entrepreneur is committed to making a positive difference within communities, focusing on sustainable practices, a trending topic within the retail industry. She will lead her team in shopping centre revitalisation, town centre regeneration and will focus on enhancing skills in local centre teams, empowering them to pursue initiatives which encourage further growth and development.
Medi has a record of applying her energy, problem-solving techniques and professional skills and together with her incredible team, they will transform communities to create jobs and boost the local economy. Having extensive experience at board level whilst simultaneously executing growth initiatives on the ground, Medi has an ‘all-round’ knowledge of what makes a successful destination.
Medi has appointed two specialists to support the business and its delivery:- Dr Sara Parry: Expert in marketing and consumer behaviour – Anna Edwards: Specialises in the night-time economy, soon to gain a Doctorate in urban economic development. These complementary skills make for an extremely strong and capable team who will support the company in this key community and strategic role.
