Authentic Furniture opens Birmingham showroom at The Mailbox
Authentic Furniture has chosen Birmingham’s The Mailbox for the opening of its second showroom.
Spanning 3,000 square feet, the store is situated in the Home at Mailbox section of the retail destination where it sits alongside retailers such as Heal’s, Made.com, BoConcept, Calligaris and Design Quarter.
The store will sell a range of sofas, living room and dining room furniture items that are handmade in the UK using traditional techniques.
Tim Lowry, managing director at Authentic Furniture, said: “We feel a great synergy with the Mailbox in this respect and are thrilled to have opened our second showroom in the centre. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be moving to the UK’s second city, thanks to the significant level of investment and number of large corporations choosing to relocate there and we’re looking forward to welcoming people to the new store very soon.”
Other brands with a presence at The Mailbox include the likes of Harvey Nichols, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Underwear, BOSS, Emporio Armani, Paul Smith, LK Bennett, Gieves & Hawkes, Burrows & Hare and English Brands.
Commenting on the Authentic Furniture launch, Melanie Taylor, head of retailer relations at Milligan, said: “We’re confident Authentic Furniture’s range of beautifully made and design-led furniture will resonate with our customers and are delighted to welcome them to our market leading collection of brands here at the Mailbox.”
