Ann Summers rebrands flagship stores to celebrate International Women’s Day

Ann Summers temporarily changed the name of two flagship stores in London’s Oxford Street and Marble Arch to ‘WOMANN SUMMERS’ in celebration of International Women’s Day.

It is also updated its online branding.

In addition, Ann Summers staff at the retailer’s top 20 stores wore branded t-shirts bearing the ‘WomAnn Summers’ logo to encourage customers to join in the celebrations.

Jacqueline Gold, chief executive of Ann Summers, said: “International Women’s Day, has marked the plight and achievements of women for more than a century.  It is a day, when women all over the world, can inspire one another, celebrating everything that we have achieved and to recognise, how much further there is still to go. Empowering women, is something that I am personally, incredibly passionate about, and at Ann Summers, we proudly stand for sexual empowerment, for every woman.”
