M&S chief digital & technology officer to step down

Marks & Spencer‘s chief digital and technology officer is stepping down a few months after being promoted.

According to The Times, Jeremy Pee is leaving the business to return to Canada.

Pee joined M&S in 2018 as chief digital and data officer and was appointed to his current role in January. He has been credited with transforming the retailer’s digital capabilities.

Prior to taking up his M&S role, he was senior vice president of digital at the Loblaws supermarket chain in Canada and also worked with Staples.

It is understood that M&S co-chief executive Katie Bickerstaffe will take over his responsibilities on a day-to-day basis until a successor has been identified.
