Screwfix opens 500th UK store

Screwfix has reached a major milestone in the expansion of its store network with the opening of its 500th UK store at Lumina Park in Enfield.
Since opening its first store in Yeovil in 2005, Screwfix has launched one store per week for the past six years.
The new store is Screwfix’s second in Enfield and has created 15 new jobs. The company currently has over 10,000 employees in the UK.
Andrew Livingston, chief executive of Screwfix, said: “We’re immensely proud to be opening our 500th Screwfix store. This is a significant moment for our business and demonstrates our focus on continued growth to meet the needs of our busy customers.”
