Wren Kitchens opens 105th UK showroom

Wren Kitchens has opened its 105th UK showroom at Durham City Retail Park.

The kitchen retailer has taken a former B&M unit which at 15,000 square feet is its biggest showroom in the north east.

Featuring 55  displays including Wren’s new Infinity collection colours, the showroom has created 21 new jobs for kitchen designers, managers and home surveyors.

Anthony Henderson, Wren Kitchens Durham showroom manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be officially part of the Durham community, and we’ve been preparing for this special opening for several months. It’s been a real team effort and we’ve pulled together to get this showroom looking amazing ready for customers to walk through the doors and enjoy a relaxed, inspirational kitchen design experience.”

The space includes two virtual reality studios where customers can explore a full-sized model of their kitchen in 3D. This includes being able to walk around, interact with appliances and open and close drawers and storage solutions. In addition, an interactive appliance centre allows customers to get hands with products such as self-cleaning ovens, voice-controlled lighting and hobs with built-in extraction.
