The international retailer, which recently opened a new store at The Lexicon, boasts a unique “Retail for the Senses” concept that offers an array of home interiors, furniture, hobby items, kitchen supplies, children’s toys, specialty food, candy, gift-wrapping, and party supplies.
In the financial arena, Søstrene Grene unveiled an outstanding fiscal year with a turnover of 1,797,138 DKK (approximately 208,000 GBP). Søstrene Grene’s expansion extends to the digital realm, with webshops set to launch in Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland in 2023. The UK webshop, successfully introduced at the beginning of September, has already made waves. The brand has also introduced a customer app, garnering over 500,000 downloads, with promising prospects for its future contributions. An ambitious investment is underway for the implementation of a new ERP system, SAP.
At the heart of Søstrene Grene’s mission is its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives. The company is determined to provide responsible product offerings, promote circularity, reduce CO2 emissions, and practice sustainability. Initiatives include the phasing out of single-use plastic products, reducing packaging waste, and choosing transportation methods with a smaller environmental footprint.
As Søstrene Grene celebrates its 50 years in business, it remains dedicated to delivering aesthetic designs, creativity, and the cherished concept of ‘hygge’ to its customers. The opening of a new store at The Lexicon, with its “Retail for the Senses” concept, signals the brand’s continued commitment to expanding its unique offerings while maintaining financial success and environmental responsibility.
