Soho Home Design opens first physical store
Soho Home Design has chosen London’s Carnaby Street shopping district for the opening of its first standalone store and interior design studio.
Situated at 31 Foubert’s Place, the 552 square foot space is designed to have the look and feel of a modern London apartment. The shop stocks a curated furniture edit alongside a wider tableware, textiles, decorative accessories and home fragrance range, and also offers the brand’s new interior design service.
Candy Murray, interior design manager at Soho Home Design, said: “Great design is more than just a single piece of furniture; it’s about setting the mood of a space and bringing it to life. Through our new interior design service, for the first time we can show customers how we craft our Soho House spaces, and use it to help them inject personality into their own home.”
The interior designers can advise on how to maximise living space and selecting the right furniture. The cost of the service starts from £300 per room.
Samantha Bain-Mollison, retail director at Shaftesbury, said: “It has been great to work with the Soho House Group on the launch of the very first standalone Soho Home Design location, it is a brilliant addition to the area. The concept brings something different and unique to the exciting line up of retailers.”
