Silvera to open London flagship
French furniture retailer Silvera is to launch its first London showroom on Chelsea’s King’s Road next month.
The opening of the UK flagship store will add to Silvera’s 10 Parisian showrooms which have a catalogue of over 500 premium brands for the home and office.
Founded by the Silvera family in 1990, the company serves both the consumer and contract markets, stocking furniture, lighting and decorative objects. The 500 square metre London store spans two floors and has been designed by French architectural firm Jouin Manku.
The shop will feature furniture pieces by brands such as Cassina, Hay, Moroso, Fritz Hansen, Vitra, Walter Knoll, Living Divani, Edra, Porro, Baxter, Zanotta, Glas Italia, Overgaard & Dyrman, Editions and Petite Friture. In addition, there will be lighting by Bocci, Flos, Lee Broom, Brokis as well as rugs from cc-tapis, Kasthall, Paola Lenti and Golran.
Silvera will also use the space to host frequent curated exhibitions.
