Screwfix to open 35 stores in UK and Ireland by January 2026
Screwfix is to open up to 35 new stores across the UK and Ireland by the end of January 2026.
The retailer said most of the openings will be in its small new format, Screwfix City, which has been designed for high footfall locations. The new shops are expected to create more than 400 jobs.
In the year to 31 January, Screwfix launched seven City stores which aim to offer greater convenience to busy tradespeople. They stock a range of more than 3,000 essential products via Click and Collect, with a further 48,000 available online for next day collection.
In addition, customers at City stores can take advantage of Screwfix Sprint, a rapid delivery service that provides products on site or at home in 60 minutes or less.
