Portmeirion names new non-executive director

Portmeirion, the designer, manufacturer and omnichannel retailer of homeware brands, has appointed Jeremy Wilson as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Wilson is a former chief financial officer of Focusrite and has also previously held the same role at Atex Group. Prior to that, he was group finance director at Regenersis and also worked with DHL Express as international finance director.

On appointment, he will also become a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

Portmeirion said Wilson’s expertise in performance management, business transformation and international growth will support the delivery of the group’s strategy.

Dick Steele, Portmeirion, non-executive chairman, added: “I am delighted to welcome Jeremy to Portmeirion Group as a non-executive director.  Jeremy’s broad expertise and deep industry experience will be extremely valuable. His appointment will further strengthen our independence and the experience of the board.”
