Neptune appoints first chief executive

Neptune has named Aalish Yorke-Long as its first chief executive.

In her new role with the kitchens and interiors retailer, she will be responsible its day-to-day management and will lead it through its next stage of growth. Yorke-Long will also sit on the Neptune board alongside co-founders John Sims-Hilditch, Emma Sims-Hilditch, Giles Redman and chairman Don Henshall,

Yorke-Long previously worked with Soho House where she was managing director of retail for over six years. Whilst there, she launched its successful homeware brand Soho Home and oversaw its development and global expansion. Prior to that, she was head of ecommerce at activewear retailer Sweaty Betty.

John Sims-Hilditch said: “We are thrilled that Aalish has joined the Neptune team. She brings with her a vast amount of knowledge and experience of contemporary retail in the high-end homeware sector, and she impressed us with her ideas for Neptune. We are looking forward to working with her on the development of our future strategy.”
