Mattress Online signs new partnership with Rotherham United Football Club

Mattress Online has signed a new sponsorship deal with Rotherham United Football Club for the 2022/23 season.

Founded in Rotherham almost 19 years ago, the company said it employs many Millers fans so establishing a new partnership with the team was a perfect fit.

Mattress Online chief executive Steve Adams explained: “Seeing our branding on the newly installed LED boards at the New York Stadium during the matches and connecting with the supporters through the Mattress Online Man of the Match Twitter poll each game is really exciting.

“Rotherham has been at the heart of Mattress Online from the early days and although our footprint has spread to other parts of the region, we remain committed to the town in which the company has continued to thrive for nearly two decades.”

Steve Coakley, commercial director at Rotherham United, added: “It has become very evident that the two organisations share very similar community focused values and we’re excited to see what further opportunities we can develop together over the coming months, and hopefully beyond.”

Mattress Online has recently invested in additional warehouse space which has increased its Rotherham footprint to around 135,000 square feet. It has also opened a new store in Sheffield as part of its clicks-and-mortar strategy.
