Made.com appoints Claire Valoti to its board

Furniture retailer Made.com has appointed Claire Valoti as a non-executive director.

Due to join the business on 13 May, she will also become a member of the board’s audit and risk and remuneration committees.

Valoti has worked for over two decades in the tech sector and held leadership roles in both digital and consumer technology businesses. She is currently the vice president of EMEA at Snap Inc where she has been credited with helping to drive international growth and the expansion into new and existing markets.

Prior to Snap, Valoti was director of agency partnerships at Facebook and also held director level roles at Weve, O2 Media and Telefonica. She has also previously worked with WPP’s Mindshare where she started the digital function and ended up as head of digital display and mobile.

Susanne Given, chair of Made.com, said: “Claire brings a wealth of digital marketing experience relating to both the UK and international markets, and her deep understanding of how businesses engage with digital-native customers will further strengthen the existing mix of skills on our Board. We look forward to benefiting from Claire’s valuable expertise and insights as Made continues to grow.”
