Lark London opens in Woking’s Victoria Place

Woking’s Victoria Place has welcomed independent lifestyle boutique, Lark London, to its 1,558 sq ft space on 7 Commercial Way, marking its debut outside London.

The new boutique, fitted out in its signature pared-back and Scandi-inspired style, spotlights its trademark selection of lifestyle and homeware products from over 300 small independent brands, including popular brands such as The Aromatherapy Co., My Doris and Ortigia Sicilia.

Created to fill a gap in the market for affordable, independent lifestyle boutiques, accessibility is a core focus for co-founders Dominic and Priya Aurora-Crowe. Lark London Victoria Place is designed to showcase this, offering a wide range of high-quality products across three tiers of price points, ensuring affordability for all. The store’s position on Commercial Way similarly allows for optimum convenience for visitors, with easy access to both the town centre and the train station.

Dominic and Priya Aurora-Crowe, owners of Lark London, commented: “Expanding our brand has always been a goal of ours, and we are so proud to be opening our first location outside of London in Woking’s Victoria Place. As a family-owned business, our values are centred on a sense of community, affordability and accessibility for everyone, which we strive to represent through our brand, and we believe that our new home in Woking reflects this.”

John-Paul Jackson, Centre Manager for Victoria Place, added: “We are hugely excited that Woking has been selected as Lark London’s first location outside of London. As a town, we strive to curate unique and high-quality shopping experiences for locals and visitors alike, which Lark London effectively provides. We feel sure that this new space will succeed just like other community-focused operators have in Victoria Place.”

The opening of Lark London follows the recent announcement that renowned British music and entertainment retailer is to make its return to Victoria Place. The news coincides with the anniversary of the destination’s launch, with the significant regeneration initiative celebrating one year since it officially opened its doors and welcomed a number of leading brands including M&S, Moss Bros. and Skechers.
