JYSK to open Sheffield store this month

JYSK is to open a new store in Sheffield this month as it continues its UK expansion.

The Danish furniture and homeware retailer has taken 950 square metres of retail space at the Queens Road Retail Park in the city.

Due to launch on 25 July, the shop has been designed in line with JYSK’s latest retail concept where customers will be able to shop for everything from outdoor living collections and furniture to accessories, soft furnishings and lighting.

To mark the grand opening, JYSK will be offering customers at the shop up to 80% off hundreds of products throughout the first week of trading.

In a partnership with well known local bakery Forge Bakehouse, it will also be handing out free baked goods between 9am and 12pm on the opening day.

Founded by Lars Larsen, JYSK opened its first store in Denmark in 1979 and now has more than 3,200 locations in 48 countries worldwide.
