Homebase launches new look autumn campaign

DIY retailer Homebase has launched a new-look campaign to support sales of its autumn range of home furnishings and kitchens.

The retailer has taken a more emotionally led communications approach in the campaign which is its first under the new tagline – ‘Feel Good to be Home’. It is also part of Homebase’s wider autumn campaign, ‘Welcome Back Indoors’.

The homewares and kitchen campaign kicked off on 11 September with a 20-second advert shown during ITV’s ‘Emmerdale’. It will also be supported across PR and digital channels through a range of email CRM initiatives and in-store point-of-sale.

Created by Atomic London, the advert is voiced by award-winning actress Suranne Jones.

Lisa Tickle, head of marketing at Homebase, said: “We are excited to reveal our autumn campaign and to be celebrating our fantastic new range of home furnishings and kitchens. ‘Welcome Back Indoors’ takes a light-hearted view of the changing seasons and marks a real step-change in the way we communicate with our customers.”

The campaign supports the introduction of over 800 new products at Hombase across the furniture, storage and home accessories categories.
