Heal’s to open new store at Westfield London

Furniture retailer Heal’s is to open a new store in the Westfield shopping centre in London’s White City at the end of this month.

The 426 square metre shop will mark the second opening in the space of a year for the retailer following the launch of a store at Birmingham’s Mailbox last October.

At Westfield Heal’s will be part of a new interiors hub opening throughout 2018 where retailers will include the likes of West Elm, BoConcept and Natuzzi.

The new store will offer an edit of best-selling designs from the company’s flagship showroom on Tottenham Court Road and will include upholstery, cabinetry, kitchen and dining, sleep, lighting, accessories and home fragrance products. In addition to a collection of own-brand products, there will items from brands such as Ligne Roset, Vitra, Anglepoise and Knoll. The store will also offer click and collect and interior planning services.

The opening at Westfield London comes as Heal’s celebrates 200 years on Tottenham Court Road.

Hamish Mansbridge, chief executive at Heal’s, said: “Our latest expansion into Westfield London marks a real achievement for us and, coinciding with our 200th anniversary on Tottenham Court Road, is a significant marker for just how far we’ve come as a business, as well as how we have stayed true to our heritage whilst remaining both current and ahead of the curve.

“This latest opening is a real statement of intent for our future plans – Heal’s may be 208 years old, but we have no intention of slowing down.”

Westfield London is home to more than 300 shops, 60 places to eat and drink and a state-of-the-art cinema.
