Eve Sleep non-exec director to step down
Mattress retailer Eve Sleep is seeking to appoint a new non-executive director after announcing that Nikki Crumpton is to step down from her role at the end of the month.
Crumpton joined the company’s board in September 2018 and has been supporting it through a rebuild strategy. She was the company’s senior independent director and sat on its audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Following her departure, James Sturrock will sit on all three committees.
Cheryl Calverley, chief executive of Eve Sleep, said: “On behalf of the entire board I would like to thank Nikki for her support and guidance throughout the last two years and to wish her well for the future. She’s been a huge support, both personally and from a strategic and commercial point of view, and as recent results demonstrate Eve is now on a stronger footing and is developing its plans for long term sustainable growth as a profitable business.”
