Eve Sleep hires chief marketing officer

Mattress retailer Eve Sleep has appointed Cheryl Calverley to the role of chief marketing officer.

Calverley has joined the business from The Automobile Association where she worked for three years, firstly as head of marketing then as marketing director.

Prior to that, she worked in a range of senior marketing roles at Birds Eye Iglo where her last position was masterbrand marketing manager.

Before joining Birds Eye Iglo, Calverley worked for seven years as a marketing manager for Unilever where she was responsible for brands such as Marmite, Pot Noodle and Lynx.

James Sturrock, chief executive of Eve Sleep, said: “With a wealth of consumer brand experience, Cheryl is a natural fit for the business and the delivery of eve’s refocused growth strategy. Her proven track record in developing and managing high profile brands will be crucial to further differentiating our brand positioning, enhancing customer experience and helping to achieve our ambition of becoming Europe’s leading sleep and well-being brand.”
