Cox & Cox promotes Richard Bell to position of CEO

Interiors brand Cox & Cox has promoted Richard Bell to the position of chief executive.

Bell was previously the company’s chief operating officer and has worked with Cox & Cox since 2018.

His experience includes stints as director of marketing at Boden and customer marketing director at Charles Tyrwhitt. He has also worked with Steamer Trading as commercial director.

Bell said: “Cox & Cox is at a very exciting stage of its journey, and I am extremely proud to be a part of it. So much good work has been done in the past two years, laying down a foundation for profitable growth, and ensuring that we build on this momentum.”

Founded in 2001, Cox & Cox saw 13% growth in its 2017 to 2018 financial year. Latest figures show that the company is now growing at 35%. Cox & Cox has recently introduced a number of new ranges such as hardware, pet products and custom made upholstery. It is also due to launch an own-brand paint range in 2020.
