Casper partners with John Lewis
Online mattress brand Casper has embarked on a first UK bricks-and-mortar retail partnership by teaming up with the John Lewis department store chain.
The US brand’s products will now be available at 24 John Lewis shops in England, Wales, and Scotland, including a flagship store on London’s Oxford Street. The items will also be sold online.
The range will include the original Casper mattress, pillow, and the company’s newest product, the Casper Hybrid mattress.
Emily Wimborne, beds and bedroom furniture buyer at John Lewis & Partners, said: “Casper is a really exciting new brand for us. We’re delighted to launch their sleep products, including the new Casper Hybrid mattress exclusive to John Lewis in the UK, to complement our existing ranges.”
Casper made its debut in the UK in 2016 and has also expanded elsewhere in Europe.
Neil Parikh, co-founder and chief strategy officer of Casper, said:“We’ve seen tremendous success in the UK over the past three years, and the demand to experience our products in-person continues to grow.
“Partnering with John Lewis, one of the most-loved retail brands in the UK, offers customers the opportunity to experience Casper and enables us to bring better sleep to even more people.”
Casper owns and operates more than 30 stores across North America and its products are also available at retailers such as Target and Hudson’s Bay.
